Island Hopping RMS Here's a new random map script that I made. It's a pretty unique one too. Here is the basic rundown on it: So basically it's an island map with lots of small islands that have a few resources on them each. Your starting island may vary greatly in the number of recourses it has [from none - a lot]. But don't worry to build tons of troop ships yet, as there are plenty of shallows to all the other oddly shaped islands with lots of resources. I would recommend making more infantry and cavalry than artillery, because your buildings and navy are likely to use up a lot of your wood [which is pretty limited in this map], however there is lots of gold and stone. On most of the islands, there are a couple of 'resource spots' with a several trees and mines close to each other. These are stuff you want to defend. There are one a couple small hills in this RMS, so use those strategically. There are also a couple of flat empty islands, so if you want airports try capturing those as well. Tips: - Don't make too many artillery / planes, make cav / inf - Boats are useful for attacking enemy outposts - Put towers near the 'resource spot' on the islands to prevent them being easily taken over - If your island is laking a resource, chances are one near you has plenty of it - Your main island should have several islands around it, so use those as defense Download link:www.rocketsoft.gm-school.uni.cc/uploads/Island%20Hopping%201.0.rmvScreenies:

Hah, alright. It's not the best-made RMS, but it's sure as hell fun to play. I would sure like to see some people play it online and record it.
Anyways, I like making RMS where everything is more random [still same format, but so that you can't use the same tactic for each game] cause the ones that came w/ empires where pretty much the same from game to game, besides the coastal one.

Excuse me, but as the "Elite Clone" I do believe that I have the authority over a Crossbowman And the Elite Clone says: haste makes waste

Actually probably not, a crossbow is silent and deadly. You wouldn't know you were being fired upon until you were hit. But anyways the Elite Clone rules over both
