The Fight for Englandwww.mediafire.com/?19xjqlmzhbiTalknight2 presents his latest work - The Fight for England! Hello again everyone. Yesterday I was working a little on all those unfinished scenarios i have in the editor, when suddenly i remembered something King Henry said in the Lionheart campaign. Well, I quickly figured out that i could quickly and easily turn this single sentance into a good fun scenario! Well here it is! ;D and now to the screenies: English countryside: Meideval London: Scottish village: as you can see (abanneduser ), this is a medieval scenario!

If your internet is dead, then how are you browsing these forums, and viewing the pics which are quite large files themselves, eh?
EDIT: By the way, I'm not downloading because I have to get to school in 10 minutes so I'm just killing some spare time right now browsing these forums.

Well, the scenario itself is a great idea, on what is made by i suspect an elavation file? Which by no means is a bad thing. Anyway, is you can get round the fustration of the units moving so slowly, which is the reason i haven't completed this scenario. When you get into a battle it's like watching it in slow motion. The cavalry are really slow only a tiny bit slower than heavily armed swordsmen. Infact there so slow when i used the pack horse thing from the armory (increases the speed) i used it on the cavalry it increased it all the way from 9 to 9! Another thing that annoyed me was there was no longbowmen. The english were famous in medieval times for their longbowman, yet we had none. However, as usual your map design is excellent And having to use diffrent stratergies for diffrent countries is good also.
I hope you do update this as it's just some small tedious things that annoy me about it as it has bags of potential ,and if i rated it now I may dissapoint.

I tried to make them slower and smaller to givethe feeling of a long march, but the scale didn't work and only the speed remained. (i'll take off all speed effects now)
The Longbows were originally invented by the Welch, that's why only they have them. If you conquer the Welch you get a decent amount of Longbowmen at your service.

Alright abanneduser, you can now re-download The Fight for England. You don't to worry about the speed anymore, but still, try not to increase the general game speed. It gives a more of an "Army March" effect to the game. I also made some triggers that will allow you to train the special units of the other Kingdoms as soon as you conquer them. for example: You have conquered Scotland. From now on the Special Forces tab in the recruitment dialogue can be used to train Highlanders. same thing about any Kingdom. I might also give the option to recieve Subjects if you'll find the current availiable number too small.

Thanks for the update. ;D Now I have the patience to complete it there are just a few things I thing could be improved ;D - The special Forces thing isn't working - Give the Irish a navy, because im sure everyone would like to have some sea battles, instead of just completely controlling the sea. - Place a couple of gold mines near the English base as I run out of gold quickly and can't proceed to get any until I take out the Welsh or Scottish. - Maybe give an option to get subjects as reinforcements, as the Welsh killed all mine Anyway, at the moment i'd give it a 4. However, if you did these changes i'd give it a 5.

-i'll check about the Special Forces. -strange, I'm sure I gave them the ability to build ships. -that's the purpose -i'll think about it
also a tip - your subjects aren't that important. they can only build defences.

I thought there important because you can use them to mine gold so you can get things from your armory, and build up your fleet at the docks.

Yes, but it's not an important part of the scenario. you inittially have enough money for 1 smithy upgrade and 2 transports, and that is enough most of the time.

FIXED! I added the option to get 1 citizen instead of soldiers, and fixed the Special Forces button (they will be trained automatically). _________________ Oh, and I also added ships.
