Waterloo - The BattleZipped all together: www.mediafire.com/?7mix1wvoytjThis is my latest scenario for Empires: DotMW. It focuses on the battle of Waterloo, just when Blucher's Prussians arrive at Napoleon's flank. You will have to defend La Haye Sainte, Chateau De Hougomount, and take La Belle Alliance. then you will completely wipe out Napoleon and every trace of his "undefeatable" army. includes dozens of effects cleverly put into very few triggers. a short game where you can't send them all to the fight and go drik some coffee. It will require lot's of managing as the French will attack you constantly and on all fronts. ~Features~ 1) The Squares of Wellington 2) The French cavalry charge 3) A number of commands used via the chat system 4) Accuratly planned layout of cities and forces (most of them atleast) Screenshots: ENJOY! (redownload the file please!)

If someone says napoleonic war, the first battle you usually think off is the battle of Waterloo, which you have managed to create a successful version of.
I shall, again, do what was good and what needs to be improved upon.
The Good - The map was suffficient and very well done. SInce there is a lot of units on the map lag can be a big problem, so to cut down on this you have given us a small map, to reduce the lag and well done terrain mixing and eye candy gives the player wanting no more and creating no more uneccersary lag.
- The difficulty was just right, You start off outnumbered and must use stratergy to beat your opponent. For example taking out the enemies artillery pieces so they can't wipe out big holes in your troops formations or sending blucher charging at the enemy and then retreating him as you reaalize the charge will be decimated.
- It's clear you spend a long time researching the battle as you have included all the peoples and places names, an accurate map of what waterloo was like, and of course the formations the men are in, such as the square formation which completely destroys cavalry.
To Improve. - There was one bug i noticed at the beggining when the units are meant to be frozen there are a odd few who arn't frozen. So you find the odd Frenchman wondering the battlefield.
- Add another instruction that just reminds the player what the abilities are you can use on blucher, for example i only remembered the flank attack and the retreatt. As I forgot the other three.
Assuming you are going to edit this scenario I won't rate it ye on the poll until you have edited it.

thanks you very much for your review abanneduser! yes, i was thinking of making some more reminders for the charge commands. i'll add them in the objective box. I noticed that the french reinforcements are not frozen, i'll try making them come only after all the other people Unfreeze. i will also add a downloadable Word document that will describe the different unit's i changed and their abilities. (such as the 6 Pounder) BTW, can you guess how much time did this scenario took me to make?

This was very good, the only thing that would have made it better would have been to make it a campaign so you could choose difficulty and stuff like that.

there's no point really because there's no AI. all movement is made with triggers. only thing the french can do with computer AI is defend.
