Because with so many people possibly having a link with downloaded games, this forum would grab a lot of authority attention and would well be on the way of closure.

But it is legal if the website link was illegal it would be shutdown right?

Yeah. I agree, the authorities will soon track this down and shut down the site.

then why hasnt the pirate bay been shutdown for having free games.

Its not iron fist by any means. Iron fist would be banning you and deleting the thread on creatiion. Only reason I locked is because I'm watching my own ass...

The copywright companies leave the sites up so that they can catch people downloading. Its the same with Limewire and Morpheus and stuff like that (know from experience, got my internet shut down for a week cuz cox detected it).

Piratebay is legal because it operates in countries that don't have copyright laws. However, Americans downloading from Piratebay is illegal, as America does have copyright laws. And America has been pressuring some of the havencountries than Piratebay is based on to act, and there have been raids, nothing big yet though.
