Angry, talk about hacks, warez and trainers is strictly forbidden. Count this your official warning. No, I'm just playing . That would be fun but really lame. I personally hate hacking of any type, but I think exploits are fine (depending on what they are). I have never, ever used a hack on any game, and don't plan to, and don't take advantage of gay exploits like building humping on Rise and Fall, but legal tricks that can get anybody on a roof in BF 2142...

Yeah, the worst thing is when someone downloads a hack in a Medal of Honor game that makes all his enemies appear like red blobs to him so its easy to see and kill them. That just takes all the fun outta the game.

Thats how I feel about it. Even some fair exploits are just lame, but some are fair game, IMO.

Yeah, like ones that have a different display or stuff, but nothing that will give you an unfair advantage.

Please consider there are different rushing strats with England. Depends on if you go for Inf rush or horse rush. The build order is different. Most Imp matches nowadays are on plains action settings...meaning no water. If you want to pump our civs and army regularly u have to use the apple tree. Mining gold with civs at beginning of game only worth if you start with horse rush strat. Our clan tested many different strats for different ages, noticing how much resources and army u have after a fixed time. The build order at start and the knowlegde about the abilities of every civ is of high importance...
The Groover is back!

Nice, so sending civs to mine for an inf rush doesn't work too well? Does the apple tree give you an advantage?

Yes, use the apple tree always if you are rushing as England. If you are using the infantry rush, don't mine gold until later in the game (its faster than mining camps, so you do want to do it). Its been ages since I've played but I'm sure I could do the rush if I got the game. Lets see if I can post a simple build order...
1)1 worker to apple tree, while producing more cits 2) one worker to put barracks down and making a gold mine. you might want to put them next to eachother so your worker walks less (cuts down valuable seconds) 3) make a settlement and get both wood and apples, putting people on wood and apples alternating 4) make soldier around 2:00 if you are very fast and practice a lot at it (I think thats an accurate time, might be mixing it up with a different game)
If this doesn't work, I'm sorry its from memory.

Wow, I actually never thought about using the time option. Now I just plan on starting several games against the comp and seeing how fast i can make soldiers

Ah, time keeping is vital for me. If I know that my soldiers came late then I might do a different late game strategy than normal to account for it and visa-versa.
