That looks pretty good. I can't wait to see it when it's done.

Indeed Anyways, current units- All players (for now). Bowmen-Archers-Crossbowmen (I'm not sure, I may make them alternate units instead, they were quite different). Men at Arms-Swordsmen- Champion/Heavy Infantry? I'm not really sure about lvl 3 units. Cavalry-Knights/Heavy Cavalry (Richard the Lionheart renamed and re-everythingelsed)-Paladin/Warrior Cavalry (still not sure about lvl3 unit titles, so its just random for now). Trebuchet- (now its more of the anti building unit it was in reality, it has a good range, and it can take down a wall in 2-4 hits, but it fires very slow and travels very slowly). Ballista (more of an Anti-personnel weapon, it fires at a decent rate, can kill most human units in a single hit, and has a pretty good range). Mercenaries (I'm going to have 2 Mercenary units for each Civilization). And Special units (other than mercs, which are usually also exclusive): P1(HRE): Teutonic Knights (well armored Knights, useless to fight with swords due to the loads of Shock armor). P2(ENG): Welsh Longbowmen(?) (Lightly armored Longbowmen with a great range, and a good attack, very useful if used en masse). P3(FRN): P4(WRE, Byzantium): Not sure just yet, but I know what to give them for mercenaries. P5(Turks): A Generic "Desert Raider" unit, of sorts, fast, lethal and lightly armored. P6(Ayyubids): Mamelukes, (technically mercenaries, but I'm using them as a special unit), similar to the Desert Raider, unless anyone has any good ideas.

Viva la Longbowman (instead of Crossbowman, and then maybe Crossbowmen can be an England only, seeing as how that was England's specialty at one point or another)

I wouldn't say that.
You know the Pope (I can't for the love of it remember which one) tried to get Crossbows banned because of their lethality?
Longbowmen are specific to "England" as they have more control over Wales than does anyone else.

Provided this scen is set after 1300, because before then Wales was independent. The longbow of course being a weapon reaped by the English as a result of taking over Wales in 1284.
Wrong unfortuantely. When the Welsh longbows took their toll (in favour of the English) in the Hundred Years war, crossbows were almost driven out of warfare (as well as the Pope's disaproval as mentioned by jedihunter above).

This isn't a perfectly accurate scenario, obviously, although I could make the longbowmen a "mercenary" unit for England instead of the Unique Unit.
Merc units are also unique, but there are 2 for each civ.

Maybe make the crossbowman a merc and the longbowman a unique

I might do that for the sake of the fact that I can't think of any other Unique Unit to give the English.
Also, I'm going to have a system, you gain resources by the number of territories you hold, (other than food and wood, which you have to collect yourself, I think I'll make animals and trees regrow/replenish), each territory will have a "capital point", you will have to make Nobles to take this capital point, and that way you effectively control that area, and gain resources from it.
I'll try and make nobles more expensive depending on the amount of territories you control, so it doesn't get too uneven.
As for Crossbowmen, I'm thinking of giving them to France instead, they still lack a unique unit (any ideas?), and they also lack Mercenaries ATM.
Oh yeah, I'm also calling the scn "European Glory", until I can think of a better name.

Me and CS agree that the giant English trebuchet with 49 range is hilarious.

You could take advantage of the Scottish highlanders. But then I guess that the highlanders of Scotland never really took with the English armies of as the longbow did as most highlanders in the English rule of medieval Scotland remained independent (as well as a harrassment to the new occupants). So forget that, unless you want a merc idea.
Good idea. I've forgotten if there is any missile cavarly in the game but if so, give that to the Muslim faction(s).

Me and CS agree that the giant English trebuchet with 49 range is hilarious. I still don't understand why it has 49 range, though. Its only supposed to upgrade "once". Guess I'll have to figure that one out. Also, yeah there are "Mongol" hordes in the game, and thats what I was giving to the Seljuk's.

I fixed some of the errors. P3 and P2 can now make units, cheats are off (You can see the map when you're ready ), the menu's are easier to get out of, but as a consequence you may have to wait a maximum of 5 seconds to make troops, not all bad all things considered. I instituted the territories, each player owns 1 at the start of the game, though some are a lot easier to get to for some players ( like Normandy for France) than others. The map is mostly finished, other than the Northeastern part of it, which is mainly blank right now. I'll try to get the 3 other civs and the Noble system done by next Wednesday.
