Richard's QuestRichard's Questfirst, i worked for a whole week (in hours) on this scenario. it is short, but it has allot of action and a nice story. In this scenario Richard the Lionheart is riding thorugh Southern-France. When he reaches a village called Breavoux, the troubles begin...

Right i've managed to play it and finish it, and i'll write was was good about and what can be improved. The good- The map was excellent, there was plenty of eye candy and the terrain mixing was really good! - Originality wise it was great! Most people who are begginers seem to base their first scenario off usually a WW2 event such as D-day or Pearl Harber. However, yours was completely made from your imagination and set in the medival age and not many people do RPG style scenarios eiither for this game. - There were some nice little touches in there you added such as when your finding the tribe whose stealing all the peasonts, as you get near this tribe you see one of the tribe members go forward and kill one of the citizens they've taken. - I could not find any bugs, small nor large. And you've managed to help prove that you don't need loads of troops to create a good and enjoyable scenario. To improve- I think you even said this bit yourself in one of your pictures. Underneath it you wrote and the frankz lose as usual. The scenario battles were too easy. Instead of just being able to right click on the enemy and then watching your troops go and kill the enemy, it would be nice if you had to micromanage a bit. - There was no real stroy as why Richard was there in France all I manage to get the jist of was that he needed somewhere to stay for the night. - The only real part of the map I thought was lacking was the burned village. All the ruins were just burned houses and some burned cottages. You could add for example some debris, under world players and then resources and onne or two of the ruins with (yi) in brackets next to it. - I got confused what to do after I got the special sword. As there was nothing telling me what to do next. It took me about 5 mins to find out about the only surviving citizen in the the village. - At the end when you have to kill the tribe leader, he was too easy to kill. I noticed he had an improved attack but his health was the same. Therefore he was killed in just a few seconds. So to summarise- Make the map harder by adding some more enemies or/and making them tougher to kill. - Improve the story as too why Richard is actually there. - Make the map perfect by making the nessesary changes I suggested for the village that was destroyed. - Give more information as too what to do after you get the improved sword. - Give the tribe leader more hitpoints Overall it was a fun and enjoyable scenario and i'm looking forward to your next one ~ A Banned User

thanks for your preview. (damn i'm so exited somebody could finally play my scenario ) I was working for some time now on the problem with the cult leader attacking charging himself and getting killed in 5 seconds. i'm gonna try to make him have more hitpoints, and to STAY IN PLACE until he is actually being attacked himself. BTW - what troops did you build to fight the bandits? the difficulty depends on the type of troops i guess. I always built 6 longswordsman, 2 knights, and High-Quality armour improvement for the longswordsmen. so, i'm gonna improve the difficulty lvl, add Yi ruins and some more debris (there are some debry there already) to the plundered village, and try to not work on the next scenario for a whole month becaus it's realy huge (it's a sort'of RPG aswell). p.s. - this was my first ever complete/real scenario and was worked on for a week as stated above.

Ok, triple posting. Same problem. Just try to edit your posts instead, please. Its not a huge deal, but it is fairly annoying.

IMproved version was better ;D
For the bandits I had 4 swordsmen, 4 longbowmen, 1 knight, high quality armour for the swordsmen and the one that returns all my units health to full.
Anyway im just about ready to post my scenario on now, I just need to find a decent place to upload it onto.

thanks man. actually i'm thinking of taking the longbowmen off the tech-tree, because the fighitng with the cult leader is based on the fact that he doesn't get attacked untill Richard is very close to him... or i could just add some more triggers to his bodyguards. ;D try www.mediafire.comyou don't even need to subscribe i forgot what was your scenario
